Inspired by the timeless Thunderbird motif, this handcrafted macramé wall hanging is one of the largest pieces in my Thunderbird collection.
Individually knotted using around 7,000 double knots (over 14,000 knots in total), it measures 71cm wide × 70cm high and is mounted on a slim natural wooden dowel.
Made from recycled cotton cord in a soft blush base, with warm brown, sage green and magenta detailing, the piece has a beautifully earthy feel while still making a bold statement.
Designed and made in my East London studio, each Thunderbird takes many hours to create. Every piece is individually knotted by hand, making each one truly unique.
